Install Powershell V1

FineBuild can install and configure Powershell V1 as part of the SQL Server install process.

It is recommended that the latest stable version of Powershell is always installed on your operating system. For Windows 2008 R2 and below this is Powershell V2. For Windows 2012 and above this is Powershell V3.

If you are using Windows 2008 or below, it is recommended that you Install Powershell V2 instead of installing Powershell V1. Powershell V1 will only be installed by FineBuild if no install media is present for Powershell V2.
